Welcome to Conaty Park in Wilmington, Delaware. This park was first established in 1971 as Gilpin Playground but was renamed in 2000 for Thomas P. Conaty Jr., a police police officer who died in the line of duty in 1946.

*Unless otherwise posted all parks open a dawn and close at dusk.

*The following are prohibited; alcohol, defacing public property, harming wildlife, littering, skating without pads and helmet.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, motor vehicles, skating.

*All dogs must be leashed and waste removed.
