Welcome to Tilton Park in Wilmington, Delaware. This park was first established in 1874 as 8th Street Park but was renamed in 1970 in memory of Dr. James Tilton, a Revolutionary War veteran and one of Delaware's first physicians.

*Unless otherwise posted all parks open a dawn and close at dusk.

*The following are prohibited; alcohol, defacing public property, harming wildlife, littering, skating without pads and helmet.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, motor vehicles, skating.

*All dogs must be leashed and waste removed.
