Welcome to Alva Scrub Preserve located in Alva, Florida. This natural park was acquired in stages between 1999 and 2012 and helps protect a diversity of plant communities including scrubby flatwoods and oak hammocks. Some of the resident wildlife include gopher tortoises, great horned owls, and the occasional Florida panther.
