Welcome to Haw Creek Preseve, an oasis of cypress oak and hardwood swamps located in western Flagler County, Florida on the banks of Haw Creek. The creek and preserve are named for the May Haw trees that grow on the riverbanks. These trees produce a small fruit similar to apples and popular for jelly making. Haw Creek Preserve helps protect the home of numerous wild critters including blue herons, ospreys, and alligators. Please treat their home with respect. For the lover of the outdoors Haw Creek Preserve boasts a boardwalk, a boat launch where one can take a scenic tour of the creek and fish the waters, a picnic area, and so much more. Come on out and have a blast!
