Welcome to Florida's beautiful and clear Manatee Springs State Park located near Chiefland. These springs produce over 100 million gallons of water each day and draw lots of people to this fantastic swimming hole on hot summer days. Even scuba divers are drawn to these crystal blue waters. Aside from all the aquatic recreation one can also access miles of multipurpose trails here including the rails to trails Nature Coast State Trail which follows the path of the historic Atlantic Coastline Railroad. Fishing for largemouth bass and catfish on the Suwanee River is another popular activity.
