Welcome to Florida's John U. Lloyd Beach State Park. This beautiful park located on South Florida's Atlantic Coast was named after John U. Lloyd who served as District Attorney for Broward County for three decades. It was Lloyd himself who spearheaded the efforts to buy the first piece of land that would eventually become John U. Lloyd Beach State Park. Today this park is a popular scuba divers destination with what is considered one of the easiest and more interesting shore dives in the region. The visitor can also enjoy it's swimming beach, cast a fishing line out into the surf, and do many other things. Come on out and have a blast!
