Roberto Clemente Park

Fort Myers, Florida

Welcome to Roberto Clemente Park in Fort Myers, Florida. This park is named for baseball legend Roberto Clemente who was born in Puerto Rico in 1934 and died in a plane crash on New Years Eve 1972 (December 31, 1972). Ironically there is not a baseball field at this park but it does have a sand volleyball court, a black history museum, as well as a lighted tennis court and basketball court.
