Welcome to Earl P. Powers Park in Gainesville, Florida. This park was first established in 1988 and was named in honor of a prominent member of the local community. Come out and launch a water craft and have some fun on Newnans Lake. If you don't have a boat you can still have a nice picnic, bring the kids to the playground, and do some fishing.
