Lake Kissimmee State Park

Welcome to Florida's beautiful Lake Kissimmee State Park located on the shores of Lake Kissimee in Lake Wales. Some of the park's resident wildlife include white-tailed deer, bald eagles, bobcats, American alligators, and wild turkeys. Come out and launch a watercraft for access to over 35,000 acres of lakes. During the U.S. Civil War this was big cattle and cowboy country. The park was first established in 1977 and was expanded two decades later.
