Welcome to Violet Cury Preserve in Lutz, Florida. The Jan K. Platt Environmental Lands Acquisition and Protection Program (ELAPP) helped Hillsborough County purchase this land in 1995. Come out and explore over 2 miles of trails through this marsh, oak hammock, pine flatwood, and sandhill preserve.

Hillsborough County Florida Park Ordinances

*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at dawn and close at dusk.

*The following are prohibited; alcoholic beverages, defacing public property, disorderly conduct, harming of wildlife, littering, paintball, sleeping.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; bicycles, camping, fires, horseback riding, motor vehicles, organized athletic play.

*All animals must be leashed (no longer than 6 feet) and waste removed.
