Alderman’s Ford Nature Preserve

Welcome to Alderman's Ford Nature Preserve in Plant City, Florida. This bottomland and pine forest preserve has some great hiking trails to explore and protects wildlife habitat for animals such as gopher tortoises, sandhill cranes, and Sherman's fox squirrels.

Hillsborough County Florida Park Ordinances

*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at dawn and close at dusk.

*The following are prohibited; alcoholic beverages, defacing public property, disorderly conduct, harming of wildlife, littering, paintball, sleeping.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; bicycles, camping, fires, horseback riding, motor vehicles, organized athletic play.

*All animals must be leashed (no longer than 6 feet) and waste removed.
