Welcome to Alafia Scrub Nature Preserve in Riverview, Florida. The Jan K. Platt Environmental Lands Acquisition and Protection Program helped Hillsborough County purchase this land in 1998. Come explore over 2 miles of hiking trails.

Hillsborough County Florida Park Ordinances

*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at dawn and close at dusk.

*The following are prohibited; alcoholic beverages, defacing public property, disorderly conduct, harming of wildlife, littering, paintball, sleeping.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; bicycles, camping, fires, horseback riding, motor vehicles, organized athletic play.

*All animals must be leashed (no longer than 6 feet) and waste removed.
