17th Street Park and Circus Hammock

Welcome to 17th Street Park and Circus Hammock in Sarasota, Florida. All of the athletic facilities at 17th Street Park are lighted so people can play in the evening hours. These two parks border each other so they share a profile.

Sarasota County Park Ordinances

*The following are prohibited; defacing public property, glass objects, harming wildlife, littering, weapons.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas, bicycles, fires, fishing, horseback riding, kiteboarding, motor vehicles, organized athletic play, swimming.

*The following require special permits; commercial activity.

*All animals must be leashed (no longer than 6 feet) and waste removed.

*Kiteboarders must stay at least 200 feet from swim areas and 500 feet from the beach.
