Welcome to Natural Bridge Battlefield Historic State Park located in Tallahassee, Florida. This was the site of the second largest Civil War battle in Florida. Tallahassee is unique in that it was the only Confederate capital East of the Mississippi River not to fall to Union Forces, but in 1865 the Unions certainly tried, and that battle took place here at what was then known as Fort Ward.
