Welcome to Fred Howard Park located on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico in Tarpon Springs, Florida. This park was named for a man who was once mayor of Tarpon Springs as well as Vice Chairman of the county park board for over 3 decades. With around 2M visitors each year this is one of the county's most popular recreation areas.

*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at 7:00 a.m. and close at dusk.

*The following are prohibited; alcoholic beverages, amplified sound farther than 50 feet from a picnic shelter, defacing public property, harming wildlife including hunting, littering.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, fishing, horseback riding, motor vehicles.

*All dogs must be leashed (no longer than 6 feet) and waste removed.
