Welcome to Sarasota County's beautiful Caspersen Beach located on the Florida Gulf coast in Venice, Florida. The Caspersen Family used to own this land but they gave it to Sarasota County in 1968.

CAUTION! There are no lifeguards on duty so please swim at your own risk.

Sarasota County Park Ordinances

*The following are prohibited; defacing public property, glass objects, harming wildlife, littering, weapons.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas, bicycles, fires, fishing, horseback riding, kiteboarding, motor vehicles, organized athletic play, swimming.

*The following require special permits; commercial activity.

*All animals must be leashed (no longer than 6 feet) and waste removed.

*Kiteboarders must stay at least 200 feet from swim areas and 500 feet from the beach.

Please respect these rules, the parks, and all local, State of Florida, and United States statutes.
