Welcome to Florida's Colt Creek State Park located near Lakeland. This forest and meadow preserve boasts over 12 miles of multipurpose trails and also helps protect the habitat of many wild animals including black bears, river otters, Sherman's Fox Squirrels, over 150 species of birds and over 79 species of butterfly.

Boating: The lakes are only open to smaller watercraft. The park has canoe and kayak rentals.
