Welcome to the beautiful Gibbs Gardens located in Ball Ground, Georgia. This land was once owned by a well renouned landscape architect named James Gibbs. Gibbs traveled all around the world looking at gardens in an attempt to develop a vision for a beautiful world class garden. In 1980 he found the perfect place in Ball Ground, Georgia and began to design his vision. Today Gibbs Gardens is one of the largest residential estate gardens in the United States. Gibbs designed two dozen ponds, more than 30 bridges and 19 waterfalls.
