Welcome to the beautiful Georgia Veterans State Park located in Cordele on the shores of 8,500 Lake Blackshear a reservior of the Flint River that was finished in 1930. Many golfers come here from miles around to use the spectacular 18 hole course. There is also an 18 hole disc-golf course, a fine restaurant, and a remote control airplane field.

Boating: Lake Blackshear being a large lake has no horsepower limit so all types of watercraft are welcome. Come out and spend a day water-skiing. 

Camping: Georgia Veterans State Park boasts 82 campsites that have a 50 foot limit on the size of the trailer. Come out and stay a few nights.
