A.H. Stephens State Park
Welcome to Georgia's A.H. Stephens State Park located just north of I-20 in Crawfordsville, between Atlanta and Augusta. This park was once home to a man who was a Civil War era Governor of Georgia as well as well as Vice-President of the Confederacy, A.H. Stephens. His home from 1875, called Liberty Hall, still stands in the park today. Many equestrians from miles around come here for the fabulous horseback-riding opportunities.
Camping: A.H. Stephens State Park boasts 21 campsites for both tents and trailers. For those who would rather stay indoors there are also four cottages. Come out and stay a few nights.
