Welcome to Central Park located in Cumming, Georgia. Central Park was first established in 2001 with SPLOST funding approved by the Forsyth County voters in November 2000. The Board of Commissioners made the construction of a big and safe playground one of their top priorities and today the park's playground is one of the largest in the southern United States. In January 2003 the Park's Recreation Center opened, becoming the first indoor activity center in Forsyth County. This park also boasts a disc golf course, four softball diamonds, three soccer fields, a playground, a picnic area, five baseball fields, two gymnasiums, a bike trail, and much more. All of the athletic facilities are lighted so people can play at night. Come on out and have fun.
