Welcome to the Clinton Nature Preserve located in Douglasville, Georgia on Ephesus Church Road.
Park History: This nature preserve was generously donated to Douglas County by a woman named Ann Mae Clinton who wanted it to be left in as much of a natural state as possible. The only developed facilities at this park are the picnic tables and the handicapped accessible playground. Along this park's hiking trails one can view the Carnes Cabin which was built before the U.S. Civil War and sits on the National Register of Historic Places.
Wildlife: Clinton Nature Preserve helps protect the home of numerous wild animals including squirrels, raccoons, white-tailed deer, and red-tailed hawks. Please treat their home with respect. Come on out and explore.
To contact the office please call 770-920-7129.
