Welcome to Florence Marina State Park located at the very top of the Walter F. George Reservoir in Omaha, Georgia. Many birders come here from miles around to see Bald Eagles, Blue Herons, Egrets, and many others.

Boating: Walter F. George Reservoir is a reservoir of the Chattahoochee River and is over 45,000 acres in size.

Camping and Lodging: Florence Marina State Park has a modern campground with 41 sites with electricity and water and even some with electricity and water and sewer. For those who would rather sleep indoors the park also has 7 cottages. Come out and stay a few nights.
