Azalea Park
Welcome to Azalea Park located in Roswell, Georgia on the banks of the Chattahoochee River and the Bull Sluice Reservoir. Riverside Park is the home of the Chattahoochee Nature Center, which was first founded by local citizens in the mid-1970's and remains a popular field trip destination for local school children to this day. Some of the park's other amenities include a boat launch, multipurpose trails, a playground for the kids, and much more. As the founder of RecPlanet I can speak of many experiences here. My dad and I launched our Gheenoe here many times over the years and explored Bull Sluice Lake. It is well worth it.
This park was place of the day on September 13, 2014.
