Ellis Park is one of the larger recreation areas in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and it is located on the banks of the Cedar River. The ball diamonds are lighted so people can play at night.

Cedar Rapids Park Ordinances

*All parks open at 6 a.m. and close at 10 p.m.

*All dogs must remain in designated areas, be leashed no longer than six feet, and waste removed.

*All motor vehicles must stay in designated areas and obey the 10 m.p.h. speed limit.

*The following are all prohibited; foul language, boisterous behavior, harrassing other users, littering, defacing public property.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; picnic grilling, horseback riding, golfing.
