Welcome to Eagle Point Park, a large beautiful community park in Dubuque, Iowa. The history of this park dates back to 1907 when a man named Charlies Robinson first visited the city of Dubuque and stated "I have never seen a place where the Almighty has done more and mankind less, than Dubuque." The following year a group of local citizens lead by a Judge named Oliver Shiras advocated for the creation of a park and when the City of Dubuque purchased this land from it's pervious owner A.L.
