Welcome to Iowa's Waubonsie State Park located in Hamburg. This beautiful park's landscape was carved out by glacial retreat at the end of the last ice age thousands of years ago. It was also a stopping point on the Lewis and Clark Expedition. Come out and explore over 8 miles of multipurpose trails. A section of this park was once the Wa-Shawtee Girl Scout Camp which is now park lodging. The 7 acre pond is full of catfish, largemouth bass, and bluegll.

This park is also home to Eli Slusher Wildlife Management Area.

24 of the campsites have electrical hookups.
