DeNelsky Park

Welcome to DeNelsky Park in Indianola, Iowa. This park was first established in 2008 when the family of Minnie Denelsky donated the land to the city in order to preserve her memory. Come out and hike the grass trails and grill some meats at the picnic area.

Indianola Iowa Park Ordinances

*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 11:00 p.m.

*The following are prohibited; defacing public property, gambling, harming wildlife, littering.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, motor vehicles.

*All dogs must be leashed (no longer than 15 feet) and waste removed.

*All persons ages 4 and up must use the restroom of their designated sex.

*All sales require special permits.
