Memorial Park
Welcome to Memorial Park in Indianola, Iowa. This park was first established in 1956 when the city purchased the land from Victor and Lois Gillespie. Come grill some meats at the picnic shelter (12 tables and a 96 person capacity), hang ten at the skate park, or bring the kids to the playground.
This park is home to the Indianola Veterans Memorial Aquatic Center which has 2 water slides, 6 lap lanes, and a diving board.

Indianola Iowa Park Ordinances
*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 11:00 p.m.
*The following are prohibited; defacing public property, gambling, harming wildlife, littering.
*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, motor vehicles.
*All dogs must be leashed (no longer than 15 feet) and waste removed.
*All persons ages 4 and up must use the restroom of their designated sex.
*All sales require special permits.
