Welcome to Iowa's Black Hawk State Park located on the shores of Black Hawk Lake in the town of Lake View. The Lake itself is over 950 acres in size and was formed by glacial retreat at the end of the last ice age. Today the lake is the centerpiece of the park and is a great place for catching bluegill, crappie, sunfish, and walleye. One can also do a little water-skiing on the lake. Some of the more terrestrial activities include miles of trails just waiting to be explored.

To contact the park office please call 712-657-8712.
