In the mid 20th century Marion's Donnelly Park was originally planned to be made into a school but ultimately plans were changed. The park is named for a local attorney who used to own the land. One can access the paved multipurpose Boyson Trail from this park. The trail runs along the banks of Dry Creek for quite a ways. The basketball court is a half court.
