Welcome to Palisades-Kepler State Park located on the banks of the Cedar River in Mount Vernon, Iowa. The park was first established in 1922 and the grand and beautiful stone lodge was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930's. It is a great place for weddings and other events.

Camping: There are 44 campsites and 26 of them have electrciity.

Trails: Come out and explore over six miles of trails.
