Walker Johnston Park

Welcome to Walker Johnston Park in Urbandale, Iowa. The four softball diamonds are lighted so people can play at night and the picnic area has grills. Come out and hang ten at the skate park.

This park is also home to the Charles Gabus Memorial Tree Park and the main entrance to that section is located at the following address 3400 86th Street Urbandale, Iowa 50322.

*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at 6:00 a.m. and close at 10:30 p.m.

*The following are prohibited; defacing public property, glass objects, harming wildlife, littering, weapons.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; baseball, fires, golfing, motor vehicles, remote control aircraft, swimming.

*All dogs must be leashed and waste removed.
