Welcome to Farragut State Park located in the the Coeur d'Alene Mountains of northern Idaho's panhandle at the bottom of Lake Pend Orielle. This land was once part of a military training facility during World War II. Both the facility and the park are named for Admiral David Farragut who was a veteran of the United States Civil War. Over 293,000 sailors were trained here.

Boating: At over 96,400 acres, Lake Pend Orielle is Idaho's largest lake and is thus open to all types of watercraft. Come out and spend a day water-skiing while enjoying the mountain scenery.

Other features at Farragut State Park include a remote-control aircraft field, a disc-golf course, and miles of multipurpose trails. Come out and explore.
