Welcome to Kathryn Albertson Park in Boise, Idaho on the banks of the Boise River. This urban park is named for the wife of the man who started the Albertson's grocery chain. In fact the park's gazebo even has a piece of the first Albertson's store. Mrs. Albertson herself was from Boise.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; horseback riding, organized athletic play, fires, motor vehicles, swimming, fishing.

*The following require special permits; hot air balloons, overnight camping, use of metal detectors.

*All dogs must be leashed and waste removed.
