Welcome to Owens Park located in Northwest Boise! This small yet charming urban park offers a bit of history because the Boise City Canal was extended into this neighborhood in the mid-19th century and runs along the northern edge of the present day park. Paul and Grace Owens generously donated this land to the City of Boise in 1975, helping to preserve it for generations to come. This park boasts shaded areas and picnic tables. Come on out and have a nice meal.
This was place of the day on February 4, 2015.
