Welcome to Idaho's McCroskey State Park located near Plummer. This park was once owned by a man named Virgil McCroskey who donated the land to the State of Idaho in 1955 and requested that it be named for his mother Mary McCroskey who was a 19th century pioneer woman who came to the region in the 19th century to set up a farm.
