Alton Park Rules   

For your safety and the safety of others the City of Alton has passed laws regulating behavior in their parks. 

*The following are all prohibited; defacing of public property, fou language, dangerous behavior, littering, disturbing plants and animals, gambling, alcoholic beverages.

*The following activities require special permits; sales, solicitations, swimming.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; organized sportsplay, picnic grilling, motor vehicles.

*Please obey any commands given by law enforcement officers or park district employees. 

*Moore Lake is the only place that allows for fishing. Any person between the ages of 16 and 64 must posess an Illinois State Fishing license. 

Please treat these rules and the parks with respect. Come on out and have a blast!
