Welcome to Dick Young Forest Preserve. The Dick Young Forest preserve helps protect the Nelson Lake Marsh. The marsh was carved out by glacial activity over 10,000 years ago and today the marsh is home to over 5 endangered species and the most diverse collection of wetland plants in Kane County.

For the lover of the outdoors this preserve boasts multipurpose trails and much more. Come on out and explore.
