Welcome to Blackhawk Springs Forest Preserve located in Cherry Valley, Illinois. This is one of the largest forest preserves in Winnebago county and boasts a two mile paved trail, over 7 miles of hiking trails, a playground, and a picnic shelter. This preserve also protects the habitat of red-tailed hawks, white-tailed deer, raccoons, owls, chipmunks, squirrels, and many others. Come pay a visit!
