Welcome to Fishel Park located in Downers Grove, Illinois. This small suburban park has a history of recreational usage that dates all the way back to 1944 when the local chapter of the Lions Club opened it up as a local park. In 1972 the land was given to the Village of Downers Grove and is named after former mayor Newell Fishel.
