This neibhborhood park has water fountains for those who get thirsty, a soccer field, a ball diamond, a playground, and a picnic area. Come out and have some fun! In 1891 this land became the site of the Washington School, one of the oldest in Downers Grove. It wasn't until 1987, nearly a century later, that it was converted to recreational purposes.
