Welcome to the wonderful James Park located in downtown Evanston, Illinois right along the railroad tracks. This community park has eight ball diamonds, five soccer fields, a playground for the kids, six tennis courts, a full basketball court, and paved multipurpose trails. So come on out and shoot some hoops, hit some home runs, do some train-watching, bring the kids, have fun!

*Unless otherwise posted all city parks open at 6 a.m. and close at 11 p.m. 

*Alcoholic beverages, narcotics, and glass containers are prohibited. 

*Please use all athletic courts only for their designated purposes. 

*All motor vehicles must stay in designated areas and obey all State of Illinois traffic laws. 

*All dogs must be leashed and waste removed.
