Welcome to the Golconda Marina State Recreation Area located along the banks of the Ohio River in Pope County, Illinois.
Park History: The marina came into existence due to diligent efforts of local conservation groups who worked to bring a recreational service facility to Golconda. The facility opened in the Spring of 1988 and is one of the most modern marinas on the Ohio River today. Come on out and have fun.
