MacArthur Park

Welcome to MacArthur Park, formerly known as High Point Park, a surburban Chicago community park located in Hoffman Estates, Illinois near Douglas MacArthur Elementary School. This large community park boasts a numerous array of athletic facilities including four lighted tennis courts, three ball diamonds, a volleyball court, a basketball court, and a soccer field. There is also a multipurpose trail going around the park's ponds and a couple of playgrounds for the kids. This park's ponds give home to creatures such as turtles, blue herons, frogs, and catfish, so please be respectful and do not toss anything into their pond. This is a beautiful park so whether you are a resident of the Chicago region or a visitor come out and explore!

When visiting any park in Hoffman Estates, Illinois it is important to know the rules.

*Consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited.

*All animals must be leashed and waste removed.

*No littering or dumping. Please place all trash in proper containers.

*Please do not plant any plants without permission from the park district.

*All explosives, fireworks, and weapons are prohibited.

*All parks open at dawn and close at dusk.
