Welcome to the Freeman Kame-Meagher Forest Preserve located located on the northern end of the kettle moraine complex. This preserve helps to protect some of the region's habitats that are at the highest risk and give home to such animals as snapping turtles, white-tailed deer, screech owls, red-tailed hawks, raccoons, squirrels, otters, and many others. For the human visitor there are multipurpose trails just waiting to be explored!
