Welcome to the beautiful Shoal Creek Conservation Area located in Litchfield, Illinois. This nature preserve was first established in 1990 and helps protect an oasis of ravines, oak-hickory forests, cliffs, and meadows. Some of the wild animals that make their home in Shoal Creek Conservation Area include raccoons, screech owls, white-tailed deer, squirrels, and many others. For the human visitor there are nature trails just waiting to be explored!
