Welcome to the Cold Springs Park in McHenry, Illinois. From this park one can access the Prairie Trail. This nearly 26 mile trail is the site of an old railroad bed that ran all the way up into Wisconsin. Today it serves as a multipurpose trail that connects many suburban Chicago communities and provides access to over 100 miles of additional trails. Come on out and explore.
