Welcome to Raccoon Grove Forest Preserve located near Monee, Illinois. This preserve, first acquired in 1937 helps to protect a rare natural ecosystem of Blue-eyed Marys, Virginia Bluebells, and numerous bird species. Please treat their home with respect. In 1989 it was dedicated as a State Nature Preserve. For the lover of the outdoors this preserve boasts a half mile walking trail and beautiful scenery. Due to the fragility of this ecosystem dogs are not allowed. Come on out and have a blast!
