Welcome to Saint Ellen Mine Park, a Saint Clair County Park located in O'Fallon, Illinois. This natural park was once an operating mine but today protects wildlife habitat of peregrine falcons, raccoons, red-tailed hawks, grey squirrels, white-tailed deer, among numerous others. For the recreational enthusiast one can launch a watercraft on the park's lake (no gasoline powered motors) or explore the park's hiking trails.
